  • Three hours a week is the minimum commitment level we suggest to achieve a maximum healthspan—whether it’s in three 60-minute sessions, four of 45-minute bursts, or even six days of 30-minute workouts.

    If three hours a week is not something that you're able to commit to, no worries. Save your money for now and come back to us when you are ready to prioritize your health and all the good stuff that comes with it.

  • There’s no mistake—our personal fitness training is challenging. It's fast-paced and high energy, and not for the faint of heart (or those who wouldn’t get a thumbs up from a doc).

    Starting a MidStrong membership from a full stop with no exercise experience can be a challenge. But, everyone has to start from somewhere. We meet you where you are. We never judge. And our community welcomes all our new members wit open arms.

    Better yet, we are very experienced at helping our new members ramp up quickly and safely. In just a couple of weeks, they begin to feel noticeably stronger, more capable, and more comfortable in our group sessions.

  • Sure, we can all use a little accountability help every once in a while, but this won't work if we have to chase you down to get you to show up. If you need help building momentum, say so in your goals—we’ll give you the nudges and support you need.

    Just know that eventually, you’ll have to discover your “why” and dig deep to keep showing up after the initial enthusiasm begins to fade. We can’t and won’t chase you down. We don’t cajole, shame, or plead. You’ll need to make a commitment to yourself and honor that. Until that happens, you’ll never get unstuck and any progress you do make will only be temporary.

  • "I want to lose some weight," isn't sufficient. There are countless other weight-loss options out there.

    MidStrong is about maximizing your healthspan and making the most of the (hopefully many!) decades we have left. Sure, you'll get MUCH stronger, look A LOT leaner, and feel UNBELIEVABLY better from that effort. But, if your only motivation is to "lose weight" it's highly unlikely you won't stick with the program. Few people do.

    We have a community filled with committed MidStrongers who prioritize food, fitness, and function for fun. And for life. That’s why we so often say, “MidStrong is for life!” Our MidStrongers are living life to the fullest—and we’d love you to be one of them!

  • Cool, that's what we do. You will experience the absolute best in class functional fitness training and coaching and proven and realistic nutrition coaching.

    We provide the structure and framework. You just need to show up to our Westborough gym and do the work. Then, you need to show up again. And again. And again…

  • Listen, we are all busy. Everyone we know is “busy.” You will never be less busy than you are right now. Sorry, but that’s the honest truth. I promise that I:

  • Can and will prioritize my health at least 3 hours a week to expand my healthspan.

  • Can motivate myself with little handholding (although I reserve the right to need a swift kick in the pants now and then).

  • Have exercised and trained before, needing only a little support with form or new exercises.

  • Do not have pronounced movement imbalances or limitations that require rehabilitation or extensive one-on-one coaching.

  • Can hold myself accountable to my effort.

  • Am not looking for a quick fix. I want to prepare my body for the best years of my life.

  • Am ready to invest in my health and make a confident decision to join, if my application is accepted.
