What’s the worst thing you can do in the morning?

Hitting the snooze button! Why??

Physiologically, it interrupts and unnecessarily shortchanges your late-stage deep sleep, which is precious.

Why not bank those extra 10-30 minutes? You KNOW you’re not getting up that early anyway, so why deny yourself the benefit of those extra minutes of blissful slumber??

Psychologically, you start your day off with a profound loss. That sets the tone for the rest of your day.

You surrender to RESISTANCE, give it a foothold on your day, and invite it into your life at a time of day when you could begin with a win.

Resistance is coming for you. It’s relentless, tireless, merciless, and omnipresent.

Hitting the snooze button starts your day off with a capitulation to it. Give it even the slightest opportunity to take root, and it metastasizes.

So, what’s the solution?

Set your alarm for the time that you actually intend to get up. And then, when it hits, shut it off and get your butt outta bed.

You are stronger than your excuses.

Beat Resistance.
